The hydraulic defense work includes:

· An embankment with a trapezoidal section made of a material mainly of silty-clayey nature (length: 1,700.00 m; elevation at the summit: 3.00 m asl), watchtowers made to channel surface runoff and top runway , with a width of 3.50 m, intended for the surveillance and maintenance of the hydraulic work;

· Chiavica in c.a. for the regulation of a reclamation channel interfering with the embankment;
