Sant’Antioco – Extraordinary maintenance led for Macomer

The aqueduct works object of the maintenance intervention, were realized by the Cassa del Mezzogiorno in the ’60s, and concern:

• The aqueduct works object of the maintenance intervention, were realized by the Cassa del Mezzogiorno in the ’60s, and concern:
  a collection with a lifting station from the S. Antioco source for a derived concession flow of 43.5 l / s;
• the supply pipe DN 300 mm in steel of L = 5.308.77 m of development up to the reservoir of Crasta Lada;
• the disconnection and loading tank of Crasta Lada; 664.76 m asl; Vol = 1,250 m;
• the gravity feed pipe in DN 300 mm fibro-cement of 9.975.14 m of development, up to the municipal tank of the Macomer area;
• n. 2 pressure dividers, built at different times along this adduction to feed the municipality of Sindia and the one called Barra from which the pipeline for the Municipality of Bonorva originates. The purpose of extraordinary maintenance is the restoration of the hydraulic functionality of the addition by S Antioco, with a variable flow rate taken from the source up to a maximum of 80 l / s, feeding the Succoronis tank; it will thus be possible to restore the power of the Macomer municipality from “its” original source, freeing itself from the heavy energy burden of the Temo.
